Kevin and Johnny love sports. Kevin and Johnny love beer. We love boobs too, but it’s hard to work that into the title. Well… Maybe… Oh never mind. We became friends many years ago on the mean kickball fields of Ybor City. During our time hanging out we discovered that we both have a passion for football (Go Bucs! Go Bulls!) and excellent beer. Through hours in great beer bars and a few guest segments on another sports show, we knew that we could carry on a conversation and have something (halfway) intelligent to say. When we discussed starting a podcast combining our two passions, the choice was easy.
On Balls & Brew, we interview the brewers, discuss local beer happenings and try all the good stuff that we can get our hands on. Hefes, stouts, a universe of IPAs, we try them all (I know, terrible job) and give you recommendations and items to avoid.
We also talk sports, Bucs, Bulls, Bolts and the goings on of the NFL, NHL, college football and the NBA ; )
